I was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Friday Agu Orji and Elizabeth Eke Agu Orji.
I come from a family of seven, and I’m the third-born as well as the third son.
I speak multiple languages including Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Gbagyi, and Twi — a skill that has helped me connect deeply with people of different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions.
Back in secondary school (SS2, 2016), I was popularly known as *“Fresh”* — a nickname given to me by my female friends because of my clean dressing and style. In 2020, I rebranded the name to *Freshkid Makavele, ahead of releasing my first single *“Odoyewu.”
2004: Began schooling at Ebiri Primary School, Elu Ohafia, Abia State.
2006: Relocated to Dutse Baupma, Abuja; continued at LEA Primary School, Sagwari, Dutse Alhaji.
2009: Family relocated to Chinka, Kagarko Local Government.
2011: Completed primary education at LEA Primary School, Chinka, Kagarko LGA.
2011–2017: Attended Government Secondary School, Jere, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna State.
Graduated in 2017 with a good WAEC result and served as class captain from junior through senior school.

2024: Eminent Award Ghana — “Odoyewu” by Freshkid Makavele won Afrobeat & AfroPop Song of the Year.
This marked my first major international recognition.
I began performing in local rap competitions in 2014 during my high school days in Chinka/Jere, Kagarko LGA. Although football was my main focus at that time, my love for music grew stronger by 2018 when I wrote my first official song.
I recorded my debut single “Odoyewu” on December 6, 2020 in Ghana.

In 2016, a year before finishing secondary school, I became an apprentice barber. I completed my training and graduated in December 2017 after six months of service to my boss. Shortly after, I moved to Abuja to hustle and support my family.
Though I was raised as a farmer, I’ve gained diverse experience working in fish farming, housekeeping, and security.
In 2019, I began learning nail artistry and today, I am also a skilled nail technician.
Hobbies: Writing, playing football, and listening to various music genres.
